  • Overview

    As the Real Estate Analyst and Writer, you will work with our Real Estate and Curriculum teams to create market research content and with a goal of publishing regular Real Estate Financial Newsletters, guides and content describing real estate investment conditions and opportunities.  The role also involves working with the Curriculum Team develop additional real estate learning content and tools.

     

    This position will create newsletters, guides, tools and content for real estate investors in both the residential and commercial markets.  Examples of content will include description of the asset, the thesis for investment, geographic market information, asset class description, financial analysis, investment structure.  Position will be required to research, review and write about real estate markets and opportunities.

    What you will do

    The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Must work independently to create clear, concise copy that meets the specific objectives of the project.
    • Conduct research of real estate topics and market analysis
    • Oversee content creation from the planning or draft stage to completion.
    • Must demonstrate creativity, real estate industry subject matter knowledge, technical proficiency, and initiative in completion of assigned jobs.
    • Perform research on various asset classes, geographic markets and demographics as needed to develop accurate and appropriate content for newsletter, guides and offering materials.
    • Write, edit and proofread real estate educational content

    What we are looking for

    • 2-4 years’ experience in  analyzing and writing about a real estate and/or financial industry
    • A keen interest in economics, investments, and the real estate markets
    • Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, simple communication
    • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at one time while meeting rigorous deadlines.

     

    Education Required:

    • Undergrad education in (Real Estate, Economics, English, Journalism, Communications) is preferred

     

    This is an IN-OFFICE, FULL TIME position in our offices located in Pacific Beach.
